Best Martial Arts Actor Ever?

Ong Bak - Simply one of the best martial arts movies I have ever seen, Tony Jaa is worth all the hype! No wires, and full contact during the fight scenes, which are amazing demonstrations of power, flexibility and acrobatics... it is breath-taking!

Thailand is making sone extraordinary movies lately, Bang Rajan is another flagship movie... since the Thai government has made it easier for the film industry to operate, huge investment is taking place and there is some incredible talent... plus Muay Thai and the Thai culture generally, deserves more exposure.

I got the two-disc DVD, and the interviews with the western cast are fascinating. They were hired because they are real fighters and were basically going to have to take full contact elbows, knees, kicks and punches during the fight scenes. Also the promotional tour footage with Tony Jaa replicating some of the stunts is just jaw dropping. They should have put this guy in Darth Maul's mask for Ep. 1!

Seriously, the market scene puts any... and I mean ANY, Jackie Chan stunt sequence to shame and I am a huuuuuuuge Jackie fan. This guy is beyond even Mr. Lee...
