Peter from All Nations Tavern, Auckland, New Zealand is looking at dates during my trip, that would be a great gig. All Nations used to be known as 'Java Jive' and was 'the' spot to play in Auckland. Hopefully we can sort something out.

Just bought a beautiful Marshall acoustic guitar amp, and a Shadow acoustic pick-up for my guitar. The Shadow has a flexible mic arm that can be adjusted to sit just under the guitar strings, the controls allow you to mix the sound from the mic and the guitar's original pick-up. The Shadow combined with the Marshall is just an outstandingly beautiful guitar sound and I can't wait to hear it through Palmer's PA system. I will also be using this gear at Bond's on Sunday. The Shadow also means that when I play at open-mics and have to jack straight into the PA system, I can still get a reasonable, organic acoustic tone... Which is awesome, as I hate the scratchy, treble-heavy sound I was getting.
