Mum is very proud...

Hey,

I thought I would apply some writing to the academic world in addition to the music and fiction worlds...

And whaddya know... managed to get something in an academic journal! Check this out...

I recently completed a Masters (MSc) Degree in Marketing (still waiting for marks) and my tutor suggested I submit one of my assignments to the conference at the above link...

I am thinking about heading on out to Boston for the conference to see my paper in action! Anyone want to come?

Cheers

PS I am playing at the Splash tonight and at the WAY OUT WEST FESTIVAL on Sunday... see the post below.

Lyrics

Freedom drowns me as it rushes in
intimidation comes with open doors
language has moved on without me
don't understand the game let alone the scores

the shelf seems so high when you're looking down
and your legs feel like trembling with regrets and fears
head swimming from the vertigo of taking the next step
and I can't even see your house from here

it's not even my own voice in my head it's yours... move on, move on, move on, move on, move on

looking around at the other faces in the trench
niave and hopeful and wide of eyes
what are we looking for at the end of this fight
an illusion of peace and commitment with ties

head swimming from the vertigo of taking the next stepand I can't even see your house from here

it's not even my own voice in my head it's yours... move on, move on, move on, move on, move on

**SHOWS THIS WEEKEND**

I'm playing at the WaterSplash on Friday from around 7:30pm with Pasty Pete and Alex (if he's well enough).

I have some awesome guests too, getting up to sing or play their own sets, come check it out.

By the way, check out my new tunes at my MYSPACE page and there are also some new lyrics in the MySpace blog if you're into that sort of thing.

I'll also be dropping into Ferg's Acoustic Only Show at Bonds to lay down a few tunes on Sunday, if you fancy chilling to some mellow music.
