Radio session was great fun!!!

The interview was cool, chilled out and we had a laugh... I hope I don't come across like too much of a jackass!!!

I was asked about the music scene is Jersey, my influences, where I like to play, if I could choose one cover what would it be... I even plugged the Splash and the acoustic music club at the Original Wine Bar in Bath Street!!!

And of course I played a few tunes, live and unplugged in the studio, did 'Sold' a new tune called 'My Run' and a cover of Damo's 'Aimee' just for the Eskimo Friends!!!

Sold was dedicated to Lainey, who asked if I would play it, so there you go Finn... I aim to please my fan!!!

It's gonna be aired on bank holiday monday between 5pm-7pm but links to the full interview and live session will be available from my site and the BBC Website in due course, so don't worry if you miss it.

Gorey Fete was a washout... Literally.

It was raining so hard the stage was soaking wet, much too dangerous to be plugging in instruments to a P.A. so it was cancelled unfortunately.

We still got paid mind you and me and the guys from the Jackson Moody Band (Phil, Gareth and Alex) took over a Restaurant called Maxey's and played an unplugged acoustic set for the diners and people standing at the bar... Good fun.

Next week, BBC interview and live session...

LIVE AT GOREY FETE TONIGHT ~ 7PM!!!

Come and check it out, I go on after the master drummers and after me, the excellent Jackson Moody Band will bang out Jack Johnson and original funky tunes for you to dance along to.

Next week, I will be going into the BBC for an interview and I'm taking my guitar along and will hopefully play a few unplugged original tunes... I think the interview and session will be available online, watch this space.

Played at the Acoustic Music Club on Monday and tried out a new tune 'My run', diamonds on the inside by Ben Harper, Volcano by Rice, Sold by me and a bad version of Cannonball, with feeding back vocals and out of tune guitar... Still, it's all part of the game.

I am playing at 7pm on Thursday at Gorey Fete with a 30 minute set, jamming a few tunes with Alex, Phil and Simon. Setlist will probably sound like this:

Volcano ~ Damo
Diamonds on the inside ~ Harper
Sold ~ JT
I'd do anything ~ Jason Mraz
Sail away ~ David Gray
My run ~ JT
The Professor ~ Damo

It's a gamble playing the new one, but it's nice to push yourself from time to time, especially in front of an audience.

I'm looking forward to getting back in Basement Records to collaborate with Simon on some new stuff.
